Cold Pressing

What does ‘native’ actually mean? In this process, carefully selected seeds are cold-pressed without additional heat. No additives, refining, filtering, or roasting are involved. This preserves the pure taste of the seeds, allowing their wonderful aroma to fully unfold. This gentle pressing method also retains almost all valuable and healthy ingredients in our oils. As a result, our oil provides you with a variety of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, crucial for a healthy lifestyle.

STEIRISCH

Styrian Pressing

In contrast to native oils, our Organic Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil g.g.A. is pressed using the traditional Styrian method. Finest pumpkin seeds are ground in our traditional stone mill and then gently roasted on a manually operated, wood-fired roasting pan. Few producers still use this traditional method, as it requires exceptional skill and expertise from the pressers.

This pressing method results in a particularly rich, nutty flavor, making our Organic Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil P.G.I. consistently impressive year after year.
