Pardina lentils are smaller than most common lentil varieties, with a diameter of 4 to 5 mm. They have a light to medium brown color, with a yellow interior. These lentils offer a hearty and aromatic, slightly nutty flavor. They also have excellent cooking properties, retaining both their shape and color during the cooking process. Thanks to this, Pardina lentils are ideal for salads, as they don’t fall apart. However, they’re also perfect for a wide range of lentil dishes, from soups and stews to spreads and appetizers.
Due to their small size, there’s no need to soak Pardina lentils beforehand, making them quick and easy to prepare.
