Sunflower

Sunflower oil is one of the world’s most important plant oils in terms of quantity and originates from North America. Now widespread in Austria, the sunflower plant dazzles with its bright yellow bloom, evoking feelings of summer and sunshine. Even just seeing a field full of sunflowers in bloom can bring a smile.

Task

Be sure to look out for sunflower fields from late July to early August—this is when they’re at their best!
