Grapevines thrive primarily in temperate zones, and viticulture has shaped entire regions, making it one of the oldest specialized crops. Even the ancient Romans appreciated a fine drop \u2013 not just as an evening pleasure, but also as a remedy. Already in the 19th century, grapes were used not only to produce wine, but also for the production of grape kernel oil or for extracting grape kernel extract.
