Vegan mini granola bars

Make your own granola bar for a change—we’ll help you do it, too. A great recipe especially for you, with brilliant ingredients, of course. Our vegan mini granola bars are perfect with tea, coffee, or in the evening, cosy in front of the TV. Have fun trying them out. Ingredients

200 g rolled oats
200 g coconut flakes
200 g organic raw flaxseed
150 g organic raw hemp nuts
120 g margarine
190 g cane sugar
20 ml maple syrup (or alternatively agave syrup, apple syrup…)
50 g raisins
3 tbsp cocoa powder

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 120°C. Mix the oat flakes and coconut flakes, spread them on a baking tray lined with baking paper, and toast in the oven until the coconut flakes turn lightly brown. Then remove the tray from the oven and let the flake mixture cool.
In the meantime, you can prepare the syrup. To do this, melt the margarine in a small saucepan and, stirring constantly, add the cane sugar and the maple syrup.
Once the flake mixture has cooled, add the remaining dry ingredients (organic flaxseed, organic hemp seeds, cocoa powder and raisins, which in this case do not need to be soaked beforehand, as they are not baked).
Finally, mix the dry mixture with the syrup by stirring everything together well so that every grain and every flake comes into contact with the syrup.
Now spread the granola mixture onto a tray lined with baking paper, or into a baking dish, and let it set in the fridge. Cut into bars before serving.
