They not only look sweet and adorable, they taste that way too! These delicious heart wraps are not only perfect for mom on Mother’s Day, but will surely bring a heartfelt smile to your face and your loved ones’ all year round 🙂 Melanie (@bymelonie) shares how to create this feast for the eyes:   Ingredients

• 100g organic chickpeas
• 5 dates
• Organic hemp seed spread with cocoa
• ¾ tsp vanilla bean paste
• 1 pear
• Tortillas
• Coconut oil
• A small shot glass

  Preparation

1. Pour hot water over the dates and let them soak for a few minutes. Cut the pear into small sticks.
2. Blend the chickpeas, vanilla bean paste, and dates in a blender until a smooth mixture forms.
3. Fold the tortillas into quarters and use the glass to cut out a heart shape.
4. Unfold the tortilla and cut open the bottom quarter. Spread each of the four sections clockwise:
   1. A: Chickpea-date purée
   2. B: Hemp seed spread with cocoa
   3. C: Chickpea-date purée
   4. D: Pear slices
5. Fold B onto A. Fold C onto D. Fold the tortilla in half once more so that a quarter or a heart remains.
6. Fry the hearts in a pan with a little coconut oil until golden brown on both sides and serve with just as much love 😊

Tip: If you prefer it sweeter, you can use more dates. Thank you for this lovely recipe, dear Melanie!
