ORGANIC in Motion: Exploring Impressive Mountain Scenery

With the half marathon covering 26 kilometers and approximately 1,600 meters of altitude, a true alpine challenge awaited our organic partner farmer Karl Schodl at the OTS Obertauern Trailrun Summit.

The route led over technically demanding trails with numerous steep ascents and varied downhills. However, he was particularly impressed by the spectacular panoramic views – an experience that made the run very special despite all the exertion.

The biggest challenge was the altitude: as the route practically never drops below 1,200 meters above sea level and climbs to over 2,300 meters, the thinner air was clearly noticeable. Especially on the longer ascents, pacing had to be managed carefully.

Karl Schodl extends a heartfelt thank you to Schalk Mühle for their support. As an organic farmer and supplier to Schalk Mühle, Karl Schodl is particularly pleased not only to know the products from agricultural cooperation but also to use them in various sports activities.
