Pretty much everyone knows hemp these days. However, this very healthy plant has fallen into disrepute due to its THC content and its stimulating effects. Most people are therefore not familiar with the hemp plant itself, but rather with the flower of the female hemp plant, which can be smoked or eaten to get ‘high’. Aside from the use of one part of the hemp plant as a drug, it has many other effects that are unknown to most people.
For example, there are already many studies on the effects of cannabis oil, which contains substances said to have a positive effect on the destruction of cancer cells, sleep disorders, anxiety, and depression. In some parts of the world, cancer patients can even have cannabis prescribed by a doctor. Today, however, we are dealing with another part of this extraordinarily productive plant: hemp seeds.
Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted hemp seeds
- 2 cups almond flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 berries of your choice
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
Preparation
- Place the bananas in a large bowl and mash them.
- Mix the eggs, vanilla extract, and coconut oil.
- Mix the hemp seeds, almond flour, salt, and baking powder, then add them to the liquid mixture.
- Finally, stir in the berries and pour into a baking tin. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
- And your super delicious, healthy banana bread is ready.
