You’ve always wanted to make your own muesli? Then we have something for you! With this brilliant recipe from Anja (
foodfreshion.com), you’ll be the new muesli champion. Perfectly versatile, this crunchy superstar comes with all kinds of ingredients, for breakfast yogurt, as a dessert at lunch, or as an evening snack.
Ingredients for 300 g Granola
- 45 g large-flake oats
- 45 g small-flake oats
- 45 g Organic Sunflower Seeds Raw
- 25 g Organic Pumpkin Seeds Raw
- 25 g Organic Hemp Seeds Raw
- 15 g coconut flakes
- 15 g Organic Ground Flaxseed
- 45 g Organic Sunflower Seed Butter Raw
- 40 g maple syrup
- 15 g Organic Virgin Sunflower Oil
- ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat).
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients. In a second bowl, stir together the liquid ingredients (butter, maple syrup, oil).
Then pour the liquid ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn or stir 1-2 times. When the granola has taken on a golden color, it is done baking.
Remove the finished granola from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet. Serve with milk or yogurt and fresh fruit.
