For over 60 years, Styrian pumpkin seed oil has been produced at Schalk Mühle with great intuition. For our Organic Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil PGI, we use only carefully selected pumpkin seeds from Austrian organic farming. The Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) guarantees both the traditional production method and the origin of the seeds.

With a wealth of experience, the freshly ground seeds are gently roasted before the oil is pressed. This creates that deep green pumpkin seed oil with its intense nutty aroma, for which Styria is known far beyond Austria.

Furthermore, Styrian pumpkin seed oil naturally contains a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids (such as linoleic acid for cholesterol levels) as well as valuable secondary substances from the pumpkin seed. Abundant vitamin E protects cells from oxidative stress, while the zinc and phytosterols it contains are traditionally valued for their positive effects on the bladder and prostate. This combination of nutrients contributes to the special quality and popularity of the oil.

From the selection of raw materials to bottling, we accompany every step in our family business. The result is a high-quality natural product that stands for genuine origin and unadulterated enjoyment.
