Brown flaxseed oil is an absolute top performer in nature: With a phenomenally high content of the essential omega-3 fatty acid (alpha-linolenic acid) of over 60%, it is among the plant-based oils with the highest natural omega-3 content. This fatty acid demonstrably contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels and makes the oil an integral part of a conscious diet.

In the kitchen, the oil is a true classic: It traditionally pairs excellently with warm potato dishes (such as boiled potatoes with quark), but also refines morning muesli, yogurt, smoothies, or fresh salads. Due to its extreme heat sensitivity, the oil must never be used for frying – instead, simply add it directly to finished, warm dishes just before serving.
