Our organic Pardina lentils are a modern, versatile lentil variety with a balanced flavor and a pleasant firm bite. They can be flexibly incorporated into a wide range of dishes – from fresh salads to light Mediterranean recipes.
Thanks to their stable structure, they keep their shape even after cooking and provide a great texture. Their protein content makes them an easy addition to versatile, plant-forward meals.
What’s special about these small legumes is that they don’t need to be soaked before cooking. Simply cover the Pardina lentils in a pot with three to four times the amount of water, bring briefly to a boil, and simmer at a low temperature for approx. 30 minutes. Once the lentils are firm to the bite, drain the water and you’re done.
